What a productive day! Haven't got my tooth done yet, but my fabulous sister has sent me the address and phone number for the dental school in Minneapolis, and my fabulous mother has agreed to pay for the initial exam! Yay! I am feeling way up.
The most productive part of the day, and the part that wore blisters onto my little tootsies (damn those cute shoes!), was job hunting at the Mall of America. I am in a nice big Metropolis, with several interesting downtown areas with bistros and temp agencies and cafes, and what do I choose but a mall. But it's THE mall. The mall on which all others are judged. Really not all that impressive, I mean it's still just a mall, but the indoor amusement park was quite a sight.
Damn, I am out of time already! More later, for now just know that I start my orientation on Wednesday as a Pathfinder and Trail Guide (that's hostess and sales clerk) at the *Jungle-Themed-Not-to-be-Mentioned-Restaurant*. Hee hee. And I have a second interview for a serving position at a Tiki restaurant that's opening there in a couple weeks. I am stoked.
...hmmm, I like eating in the rainforest cafe :^)...dunno if I'd like working there though...does this mean you are going to be settling down for a couple of weeks then?...good luck with the tooth...
