Totally love it too! I have a big sweater's worth of Rowan Chunky Print that I'm hoping might work without too much alteration. And maybe not so much of a collar.

Oh, man! I have to go *outside* for the whole day, so I won't be able to check it out until tonight. Dang!

Looks like you had a wonderful time on your trip! I feel like I went too...vicariously. ha!

I'm with you on the Josephine thing...I'm liking Samus too. I love cables and it looks like I might have to tackle Josephine this fall/winter (I shall call her "Josie sans pussycats")

My first thought was:
"Of /course/ she's thinking about handspun, she's a SpinninGeek, after all"

Quickly followed by:
"...dangit, now /I/ want to spin...."

And then:
"Mmmmm.... sweater weather..."

The new Knitty looks very, very tempting.

I love that sweater!! Just makes you want to snuggle up with a great book, some great knitting, and be all cozy...

Glad you had a great time on vacay - and glad you're back!!

It was great you had such a wonderful time. Glad you are back and happy.

I feel the exact same way! We had just watched Big Fish last weekend and I kept thinking about somehow designing the exact same sweater. In fact I had just clicked over from knitty to your site and was fanticizing about being wrapped up in all those long, soft cables... It is definitely a kismet must knit!

That is a nice sweater... a nice issue, really. Knitty is tight! (Right?) I like the wraparound sweater in there too. And Cinxia too.

I cast on for Samus last night. We'll see if this is what that picky yarn wants to be. It keeps changing its mind...

I love Josephine, but damn girl, that's a whole lotta spinning you're gonna have to do! We have faith, though, we have faith.
