Ohhhh, what a great photo! Where cat wants to be, cat will be, and just be happy if that's where *you* want cat to be (which, of course, it is in this shot).

You two had to go through this unpleasantness together. He came back to you because he needed you and you needed him, and you are able to be there for each other. What a beautiful picture and story - the human-animal bond, illustrated so perfectly. Digit makes me get all sniffly, and I NEVER cry.

Nyawh!!! You guys remind me of that scene in Ol' Yeller where the boy gets gored by the pig, then Ol' Yeller goes in an' saves him and then both of them are all snuggled up in bed healing together. Again...nyawh!!!

This is the best picture ever! I love it all--you, your pajamas, and Digit, the man giving you the love you need!
When I had fibroid surgery a year and a half ago, my cat Minnow for the first time ever in her life became a lap-cat. It was awesome!
I hope you are feeling a bit better every day!
