Matt is Dancing
It's the most watched video on the internet right now (and only went up four days ago), but if you've missed it, please go watch Matt dance. I'd embed it here, but you should watch it in high quality (button below the main box on youtube) and in full-screen. I don't think it's just because I'm overly emotional that I bawled while watching it.
It's beautiful. Enjoy.

Thanks for posting this -- I just watched it and also cried like a baby. I loved it!

I cried, too! The universal joy that this represents is unbelievably moving.

Just when I'm feeling really sorry for myself, something comes along and makes me so incredibly grateful to be alive. Thanks, babe.

So fabulous! What is it about it that makes you feel so warm and smily inside? I cried too.

Incredible. So inspiring. I've watched it 3 times in a row and am going back to watch again. *sniff*

amazing video! I did the weird laugh/cry thing due to the extra-emotional state that I'm in. It was ugly.
Thanks for it linking it though! It felt good to get it out that way.

Very cool. Love the song, too.

Yay Matt! This is so awesome.

I adore Matt and his dancing videos. He had me at 2:12 in Papual, New Guinea, and grabbed me again at 2:33 in Gurgaon, India.
Heck, the whole thing was great. I didn't like this music as well as some of the past musics, but the "civilian" dancing made up for it. :)

I cried too....before I read all of your post (and read you cried), I went straight to the video, and cried.
Glad I'm not the only one!
I think it's the renewal of faith in humanity thing you get while watching it....

Thanks for linking this video! I've been a fan of Matt's for a while and didn't know that he had made a new one. Getting paid to travel and dance...what a life!

Seriously, I have goosebumps! I want his life.
And the overly emotional lasts for awhile. I cried at an appliance commercial the other day. Hard to explain to the spouse.

I want his life too. Thanks for that, it brightened my otherwise very dark morning.

I got this from a friend a couple of days ago. I didn't quite cry but I did grin from ear to ear almost the entire time.

Yep, I cried too.

I watched it at least four times and got giddy and teary-eyed each time. Even hard-ass Neal got a little choked up watching it! I forwarded it to everyone I know saying it is evidence of joy in the world! Thanks for sharing it!

That is absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing that.

All I've done this morning is weep at things. Did you hear the NPR story on the Berlin Candy Air Drops? WEEPING. While driving. Didn't help it was followed by the My Cancer blog story. This video could not compress more joy into itself it tried. I'm glad you shared! (I really need to get those hankies made tho if this keeps up..)

loved it! my favorites are all the ones with the kids - just for their sheer joy.
my second favorite (is that an oxymoron?) is the one in the demilitarized zone in S. Korea. just great!

The only thing that kept me from crying was the fact that I'm at work. Beautiful video--I love to see all those people coming together like that. The world should dance more.

I bawled too. It was wonderful!

Nope. It's not because you're overly emotional. One would have to have a rock for a heart not to be moved by the joy and sharing demonstrated in that video. Thanks so much for sending me there.

That was one of the coolest things I have seen in a very long time. Thank you for pointing me there.

I thought you and your readers were overly emotional, but apparently he made all of metafilter misty, too.
