I asked for one for my birthday and my husband finally confessed he had no clue what I was talking about so if I could just get one and hand it to him to give me, he'd be happy to get me one... lol.

happy holidays all
not sure i've ever seen one but my blind friend uses them exclusively. I can't even tell you how many pages of notes I must write down as i do each row. wow it'd be way too easy to get used to using a wrist one.
thanks for the giveaway,
Julie

As a somewhat beginning knitter I'm constantly getting lost in my stiches. Tried counters but then I would forget to do those too. Yes, I'm a lunchbox as far as knitting goes, but I haven't given up yet! The bracelet would be a nice addition to my otherwise minimal collection of knitting aids! Just wished you lived closer to the East Coast, I think you would be a fun person to be around! Have a fabulous day!

Hooray for bonus digit! My girl-cat definitely makes that same sound when she's displeased!

Very pretty bracelet and a simply genius idea! Do they have purple ones?

I haven't seen anything like it.
Posted by: Maureen | Monday, December 12, 2011 at 17:57

Posted by: Jennifer | Monday, December 12, 2011 at 18:12
I love these things, and have been eyeing them from various vendors for about a million years. I've never broken down and obought one though. I'd still love and use one. ;)
P.S. as a fellow chronic migraine sufferer, my bed of nails pain (anti-pain?) pillow is on the way to try. I am intrigued, and hopeful! Thank you for sharing.

When I first read "knitting abacus bracelet" I thought, "I understand those words, but not in that order." I'm glad you did a video demo, I don't think I would have been able to grasp a written explanation.
What a clever bracelet that is!

A much more elegant way of counting rows than the plastic row counter I use now or hash marks on a piece of paper.

How pretty!!! I have never used one of these before. Thanks for the opportunity to win one! :)
Posted by: Samantha Edwards | Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 04:40
What a clever idea! I'm always losing my stitch counter thingy, and am way too lazy to activate the knitting app on my feeble iPhone. So this could work for me. Besides, I'm a jewelry girl.

Happy knitting to everyone!
